Chiefs Roll in Opener over Venice: 47 - 0

Big offensive plays from scrimmage, opportunistic special teams play, and a smothering Defense ruled the day for the Chiefs as the visiting Venice Bulldogs were held to negative 24 yards in total offense. Special teams set the tone as Bookie took the opening kickoff to the house for 6. The offense, which actually spent very little time on the field, saw Cameron, Bookie, J.D., and Jauq run at will thanks to another dominating effort by the Offensive line. The special teams unit was flat out aggressive seeing big hits Anaye, Bookie, and Naseem. The Chiefs swarming brand of defense once again proved to be too hostile for the opponent - Outside LBs Jauq and Casey were in the backfield all day, Anaye came up with two fumble recoveries, and the defensive front had another dominanting performance led by Jesse and Julian.
