A power running game, and a swarming defense proved to be too much for Reseda as the Chiefs scored 6 times in 30 plays while holding the Cowboys scoreless in 40 play attempts Tuesday evening at Taft H.S.

The coaching staff spent Monday together fine tuning a defense that gave up a few big plays to Pasadena last Saturday. The adjustments made a difference as the Cowboys managed just 14 yards in total offense. Mateen turned in a fine performance at D-End, and the DT's penetrated well all night. The Backers were dominant at times, as Jauq made several impact TFL's, and Casey had his second forced fumble in as many games. In his debut at cornerback, Brandon, impressed with an interception in Cowboys' second series.

The running attack was in high gear once again erupting for 6 touchdowns. Bookie and Cameron produced over-and-over again behind JD's solid lead blocking, and an offensive line that was dominant at times - Tahoe, Julian, and Jesse all impressed up front.
